What a load of rubbish. Pay £50 for something that says the battery lasts 3-6 months and mine doesn't last 6 days!!

Hello and welcome to the forums @MrsP72

Have you tried putting in another battery? To be fair, you don't know when your Zip was manufactured and how it was stored before you took it home. I know with my friend's Zip, she takes the battery out once a week, which is how it is restarted. This seems to help with her battery lasting, too. She prefers to use the Energizer brand.

Each time the Zip syncs to the mobile device or computer, it uses the battery power, too. Maybe check your settings?

Try taking your battery out for a minute or so and see if it lasts longer this time.

Let us know what happens.

Hi

thanks for the advice. Have changed to a new battery and it's working again now. I have checked settings and it was syncing all day so I've turned that off. Does that mean it only syncs when I refresh it manually?

I do love my Zip and think it's accurate so was gutted. Will see how this battery goes.

@MrsP72  you can have all day syncing. My friend keeps bluetooth and all day syncing off to keep her phone battery full. You can experiment and try having all day sync on. With my Android I look at the app often enough that it syncs without all day syncing turned on.
