Hi @gilbreaux have you tried syncing after changing the battery?

Is it showing battery low in the fitbit app or on the Zip.

The battery indicator on my iPad is somewhat erratic, to say the least.
For example it often reports 100% when the Zip is completely dead and the screen blank and 75% immediately after a battery change. I can no longer rely on the indicator so I check the screen each night.
I suspect that, like me, you'll just have to live with it.

Please remember that the battery level reported by the app is the battery level sent to the online server during the last sync and possibly deferrent from the trackers true level.
For instance after the battery has been changed the level will not be updated until after the next sync of the tracker.

Thanks, Rich_Laue, I hadn't thought of that but alas it still doesn't explain why I am now getting only six or so days out of brand new, branded batteries (Duracell, Panasonic, Energiser, etc.)
But thanks for that information.

Sometimes when my battery to be low, I sync and then it’s back to 100%.

My husband and I both have Zips. We are now getting about 3 weeks out of the batteries instead of the 3 months we used to get. May just have to get something new.

Either that or find a fresh source of batteries.
The 2025 battery is not a popular battery most use the 2032 battery which also has 40% more power and only slightly thicker.
