Do they sale replacement parts for the zip?
I broke the back cover when trying to replace the battery.
Also I lost the tip off the cover that clips onto your waist. Now it is just pokey metal.
Other than that I like it.

Welcome to the Forums @cbrc! Thanks for sharing your experience with your Zip tracker. Currently, we don't sell replacement parts. Nevertheless, you can get a new Zip clip on the Online Store.
Regarding your Zip's back door, you can try to see the options Support may have for you. However keep in mind that this is based on your Warranty status. To further assist you, I've created a Support case on your behalf - you should receive an email from Customer Support at the email you used to register with the Community forums.

I got creative when I learned that the plastic cover to protect the battery was not available for my older model of the Fit Bit Zip clip style. I put a nickel over the battery and wrapped a rubber and around the lower area of the component so I could still see the daily steps, etc. I then slipped it into my protective covering. So far, it still works and I’m not spending another $70 for their newer version. Hate that their solution is just to throw away a perfectly functioning pedometer and then buy a new one.
