Welcome to the Forums @Michelle327! Thanks for the feedback. This is an odd situation. In this case, I would recommend checking the metal spring inside the Zip's battery compartment. Sometimes your tracker will have battery issues when this is bent. Here is a picture of how it should look like:
I hope this helps, keep me posted! 😉

Hello. I have the same issue. The low battery indicator is flashing on the Zip and I received an email this past Wednesday (1/3/18) indicating it was low. I received the Zip on 12/19/17, set it up the same day and started using it.
I replaced the old battery with a new one this morning, but am still receiving the low battery indication. After seeing this post I pulled the negative terminal up and the positive terminal toward the center, but that didn't help. Do you have any additional troubleshooting suggestions? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Zip short battery life is NOT solved. My last one went for about a month. They used to last for 5 or 6 months. When is this issue going to be properly addressed?

Hello.
I'm still experiencing the low battery warnings (and am still receiving emails). Do you have any additional troubleshooting tips?
Is this a defective product that needs to be returned? Or does some other action need to be taken?
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Mike

I am like that. I find that I can keep the donogle out of computer to keep it from updating auto. Should not have to do this!
