I have a fit bit zip and the battery died. When replaced the battery lasted about a week and then died again. Even with purchasing new ones the battery doesn’t last a day and I am unable to use it. Does anyone else have this issue ? Is there an update or a fix?

Thanks for taking a break from stepping to visit the Community @tash1031! I would recommend checking the metal spring inside the Zip's battery compartment. Sometimes your tracker will have battery issues when this is bent. Here is a picture of how it should look like:
At the moment, there is an update available for your Fitbit Zip. However, before updating please make sure that your tracker is syncing. If you have a problem syncing, seethe post how to fix syncing issues. To update your Zip, you may take a look to the help article How do I update my Fitbit device?
