Connecting to a huawei

I've just got a new phone and my fitbit won't sync with it. It's a Huawei. Can anyone help

Hi there,

I see here that the P20 lite is listed as a non-compatible device, but then I found another fitbit page that explained how to connect a P20 lite. It's a bit confusing with 2 different messages, one saying it can't connect and the other saying it can, which is it?
