Donate old Fitbit zip

Hi there.

I won't be using my Fitbit zip anymore and plan to donate it to a charity for their yardsale.  Do I need to do anything besides deactivate my fitbit account and uninstall the app in order to clear it?

What a nice way to find a new owner for the Zip.

 

Since all the personal information is stored on the Fitbit servers and not on the device itself, you shouldn't have to do anything. The person who gets it will start from scratch with their own user name and password.

 

Thanks for sharing your Fitbit with a charity. Hope it brings them a lot of money.
