Fit Bit  Zip doesn't track  exexcise at the gym. Elliptical, machine , weights  etc. Just shows Active  minutes.  How can I input exercises at gym.

Hello @almostthere1, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board.

Currently, the Zip does not track activities that are not step-based. It does count Active Minutes because it senses the movement but was you're stationary, it does not count steps or distance. The only activity that should count steps is the Elliptical as the tracker is placed on your waist. If it's not counting steps while performing an Elliptical activity, please restart your tracker.

To restart your tracker:

  1. Open the battery door using the battery door tool and remove the battery.
  2. Wait 10 seconds.
  3. Place the battery back into the tracker with the “+” side facing up, and close the door.

Additionally, in order to log in a manual activity, please follow @GisselleM's excellent instructions that have been proven very helpful to many members in the Community.

I hope this can be helpful, feel free to reply in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink
