I have had 4 or 5 Zips. I love it when it works! I hate it when it fails. I tried lifting the one contact and trying to pull out the other and changed the battery. It still won't stay on and come up with random number of steps. I can't find when I bought this one, but it likely didn't make it to a year. Just a waste of money. Why can't you make this simple clip on tool work. And I'm frustrated that it's harder to contact customer support.
