Fitbit Zip Screen not changed after tapping

I received my Fitbit Zip during the weekend. Love it as a basic pedometer. However, after I tap the screen, usually the screen will not change. Then I tap it a few more times, and sometimes it will change, sometimes it will not. It is annoying.　I also tried to flip the screen, and did not work well either. What is the correct way to do it?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @LilyCreek. It's great to have you here. This might be related to the battery connection. Please check out @vomitofthemind's instructions to resolve the issue. If this doesn't work, it could be a good idea getting in touch with Customer Support. They might be able to provide further assistance.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply, Edison! The post you provided is about blank screen, but mine is not blank. It is just hard to switch to the next screen after tapping. What can I do?
