Fitbit Zip help getting active again

OK, I'm kind of a dinosaur on the Fitbit technology but this is the problem. I was given a Fitbit Zip for my Birthday years ago. I set everything up on my computer. Thankfully, I still had the site bookmarked. But, the Fitbit icon no doubt is outdated and won't load. The same person that got me my Fitbit got my Mother one. She rarely used it but I had our separate accounts on my PC. I could click on the icon and sync each one separately. I inserted the dongle? into the PC. It says it's synched but I can't figure out which one is. I walked a few steps but it still says 0 steps. Basically I need a refresher course on setting everything up again. Apparently I need to update this icon thing too.

Hi @BamaDan  the Zip user manual and related articles can be found here - click to go there. The set up information is here - click. If you're not sure which Zip is which, why not set up the Zip you have as a new device on an existing account. That way, you'd know for sure the Zip you're using is syncing to your account. See if that gets you going and let us know.

I haven't used my Fitbit for almost 4 years. I finally got everything set up again but the Fitbit connect icon won't load anymore. That's what I used to sync after I walked. So far it just randomly syncs on it's own. I just got through walking and set it near my PC like I've been doing but it won't sync. Is there an option on your dashboard to sync and if there is, where is it? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for responding. I figured out most of it but I couldn't get it to sync. I finally downloaded the Fitbit app on my phone. Got it to sync that way.
