Ever since the new app was released (notice I don't say 'upgraded') my Zip will no longer display steps in real time. Only after the Zip is synced again with the app will the daily steps show the updated amount. Is there a way to fix this or are we stuck not having real time data on the device?

I have the same problem since I upgraded software. I wish I never did.

I hate this new release app. We zip users only count steps. Never had a problem syncing until yesterday. Still not syncing today. Fitbit needs to fix this

I don't think we had a choice in updating. For zip users this update is useless.

On the PC go to Devices - top right next to logout. Second line down Zip view device settings. Choose Live Data over disable Disable. This might flatten your batteries but is easily reversed and I do not know how to do any of this on the mobile app.
