The usual things to try when you get syncing issues are:
Note that fitbits only have limited memory to hold data between syncs, usually around 7 days. After that they start to hold data at a daily summary level and after around 30 days of that they start to delete data. So, once you get your syncing issues resolved your data will look strange.
