it constantly won’t update my steps even though it is on constant update and I have to keep deleting my zip off of my phone and reinstalling it so now I’m losing multiple days of steps that it’s now not tracking. Any advice on what to do?

Try opening the back, move the battery around and reseal it.

A small piece of cardboard between the back cover and the battery fixed this issue for me. I just tear off like a centimeter of the cardboard that the batteries are attached to. This seriously was a game-changer for my Zip.
Zippedy doo dah!
