Fitbit keeps on turning off then back on

My fitbit keeps on turning off then after a little while it turns back on then a number lie 5.86 comes on the screen then it goes through all of the smily faces.

It's nice to have you here! Smiley Very HappyPlease know that sometimes the side spring may be bent as a result of improper battery insertion or pressure being applied to the back housing so I'd suggest you verify that there is proper contact between the battery and the battery contacts inside your Zip tracker. You can do this by opening the battery door of your Zip, removing your battery, and ensuring that the silver battery tab located in the lower right half of your tracker is flush with the white box outline in the tracker housing. The process can be followed here

I have the same exact issue, 5.86 etc...  I look forward to seeing if you are able to solve the problem and I will attempt to solve, as well.  And I'm a fan of box turtles, as well 🙂

Oh thank you that did work or I might just have had the wrong kind of battery in it.

I too am having the same issue...have tried the tip given an the problem continues. Have changed the battery, (replaced with the same type 2025). Any thoughts, as I am getting frustrated.
