Hi there @wells988, welcome aboard to our Community. @MustangMark is right, in this situations the best is to restart the tracker by pulling out the battery for at least 10 seconds.
Although when you do this, the changes wont be reflected immediately, since it will be apply until the midnight.
Other caused that your steps are being carried through the next day, is your timeZone configuration. Make sure is properly set by going to your Profile settings.
