My battery dies so quickly.  How long are they supposed to last. Just bought a new device because my old ones battery started dying after a week or so. (I had the device for about 3years). Now this new one I haven had for a month yet & I'm getting the "low battery " signal already

Thanks for visiting the Fitbit Community @Hbjosie! Your Zip's battery should last up to 6 months with regular use. To get the most out of your battery, make sure your Zip is on the latest version. You can check for an update by following the instructions in the help article How do I update my Fitbit device?

Also, I would recommend checking the metal spring inside the Zip's battery compartment. Sometimes your tracker will have battery issues when this is bent. You can check this process in this post by @vomitofthemind.
