How is mileage tracked?

Can anyone explain how the mileage tracks on their zip?

I walk between 6-10 miles a day. My zip will display that I walked 2 . I have been doing this route for several years and have mapped it out.

20,000 steps does not equal 2 miles.

Please asvise

Hello @Bigstrides your Zip counts steps, and calculates miles. The Zip technically can not track miles but takes the step count and multiplied by the stride setting. My thought would be to check your personal sittings and maybe determine and set the stride in the settings.
