Incorrect battery level indicator

 my zip and dashboard show different levels of battery charge.  I've been warned several times on my zip that the battery is low and then the alert goes away.  While at the same time, my dashboard shows a high to medium battery charge.  I am runnig fw release 5.90

Try bending the contacts outward a little as this seems to be a contact problem.     Norm

Welcome to the Forums @stevekonaZIP and @norm-engineer! As kindly mentioned by @norm-engineer your tracker will have battery issues when the inside spring is bent. You can follow @vomitofthemind post to see how to fix the inside spring on your Zip.
