Just replaced battery, not tracking steps

HELP!!!!! I HAD TO REPLACE MY ZIP BATTERY THIS MORNING,  clipped it on me and went about my day and here I is close to 6pm i try to sync and the counter is at 0?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!??!

Hi @Raven6649 - Yep, that's frustrating! Is your tracker showing zero steps, or is just not syncing? If the tracker is showing zero steps after replacing the battery, please take the battery out and put it back in. That will restart your tracker and hopefully correct the issue. If your tracker is recording steps, but not tracking, check out the troubleshooting in the help article below.

I had the same problem. I replaced my battery and when the Zip turned back on, it erased ALL MY STEPS!  I had over 2.5 miles. Now it shows ZERO! I tried removing the battery and putting it back in as suggested. NO LUCK!! Now what do I do? I really hate this ZIp battery stuff. It never works right!

I can go one worse... I replaced my battery (which was full) and now nothing!  My app showed 1/2 battery  but my screen was dead and it had not registered any of my steps for yesterday... HELP!!!!!

This happened to me and I called Customer Support who helped by resetting the Fitbit and talking me through what to do.
