Hi,
I did 12333 steps today, however my battery was low so it wouldn't sync. I changed the batter and it seens most of the data has been lost and it is saying I have only come 4567 step - is there a way of not having to lose the data when you change the battery?
Thanks,
Natalie

Thanks for stopping by @Nataliehf! Before changing your Zip's battery is recommended to sync it. Since as stated in the help site and the product manual, data could be lost if your Zip is not synced before replacing the battery.
However, if you remember the date and the amount of steps you took you can manually log your steps.
I hope this helps, keep me posted! 😉

Thanks for sharing your experience with Fitbit Zip. Sorry about your missing steps, I know how difficult is sometimes to get that amount of steps. Please in case that you haven't do so, check if the back of the battery is clean and if the battery door is not broken or loose; as it might be causing this issues.
Other tips:
If that's not working, we might have to check what is the next options with our support team.
