Ok so this is my second Zip and I've trouble shooted everything i've now had 3 batteries in it and I havent had it for 6 months. The first one wouldn't sync or count steps properly. This second one wont sync half the time and is now draining batteries.
I've cleaned it, fixed the spring, changed batteries, checked the firmware, unistalled and reinstalled the apps on my phone and laptop etc....What else can I do to ensure that A) I can sync my Zip and B) get the battery to actually last 6 months?

It's great to see you in the Community @kssmek8. Thank you for your efforts while trying to resolve this issue before contacting us. I'm very sorry to hear that your Fitbit Zip is not working properly. The battery should last up to 6 months with regular use and the tracker should sync to your Fitbit account automatically every 15 minutes if there is new data.
Whether you have performed the recommended workarounds to resolve syncing issues with supported Android devices provided by @RickyFitbit without luck, it could be a good idea contacting Customer Support. They will be happy to evaluate your case and might be able to provide further assistance.
