My new fitbit wont sync and the clock is 12 hours off. ie. it thinks 12noon est is midnight. I do not have a fitbit icon on my computer.

The time should sort itself out once it is syncing again.
Did the setup procedure (see link below) go ok and what did you set it up on (phone, tablet, computer...)?

I'm asking to see if your zip has just stopped syncing or whether it has never synced.
