I received a zip as part of a research project I am doing for my company (developing integrated solutions).

I loved it and really used it... until it broke about 3 months into using it.

My wife bought me one for Christmas about 6 months later - seeing that I missed it - and oddly enough I bought her a Charge as well.

We both used them until... the inevidible... they both broke within weeks of each other - 3 months in - and the devices wouldn't keep a charge... (Charge would recharge, zip bled replaced batteries dry).

The charge just 'fell apart', literally.

The zip - it just decided to quit.

I keep getting emails - but have no devices...

Eventually will need to replace them - but obviously would want something with much better longevity.

Hasta me amigos.

Sadly, I find that most of Fitbit's products have design flaws, and fail.  As a result of that I tell everyone to get your Fitbit with a 2 or 3 year extended warranty.  Best Buy, Costco, Amazon, Sam's Club all offer them for $20 or less.

Fitbit will replace your devices for free, I've done this myself with my Surge.  But when I got my Blaze and Aria, I got the extended warranty.  I wish I had done that with my Surge.

Contact Fitbit support they should replace your devices.   And next time get the extended support.  The best thing about the extended support, you will get a new device from Best Buy, Amazon etc.  Fitbit might send you a new device, but they might send you a refurbed unit.

@gdubaus If your devices are less than a year old from orginal purchase, support will replace them. It stinks that happened to your buddies, I am sure support will do their best for you. Best, E.
