Sync problem

on 4 days this month, my zip would not sync.  Not wanting to lose the info I entered the steps manually.

(I eventually solved the sync problem by taking the battery out and restarting) BUT looking at the step figures today I see the on those 4 days the figures have been DOUBLED. Can I fix this?
