Syncing - how close to the dongle

How far away from the dongle can you be in order for zip to sync?  I've had to put the zip right on top of the dongle in order for it to sync; and then I have to tell it two or three times to sync.

Thanks for trying these steps in order to connect with your Zip. The Wireless Dongle should be in a range of 15 to 20 feet of your Fitbit. If this is not working as it should, please disable other Bluetooth connections when not in use as it might be interfering with the signal. In case that the syncing issue continue check this article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
