iOS app and battery drain

There has been a known issue with the iOS app and the FitBit Zip for at least a year where syncing with the app causes the battery to drain really quickly, or to look like it’s drained. FitBit support doesn’t have a solution or a timeframe for when they might have one, although it has been a really long time. I’m now thinking of changing trackers. Are people having this issue with the other trackers?

Nice to see you again @ChrissyF123

Thanks a million for reaching out the Forums, about your inquiry this specific issue was related to the Fitbit Zip. As it was mentioned in the official thread the team longer to identify the root cause of why some users are experiencing rapid battery drain with while syncing the Zip to an iOS device (iOS version 2.41.1). We will continue to investigate, but I don't currently have a timeline for fix. Along with turning off all day sync, we do suggest syncing to a computer or Android device if possible.

If you're having same issues with and Android or PC, please check these tips to troubleshoot battery drain issues.

Thanks for your reports and patience.
