ZIP won't sync

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I got my Zip a few weeks ago.  I have it syncing to my computer.  It has been automatically syncing fine with the dongle plugged into the USB and the FitBit by the computer.  Today it won't sync (since Thursday).  I have read the posts and followed the suggestions including rebooting my computer.  I am not extremely computer literate so I may not understand everything.  Can you help me?

Hi @janicecarman welcome to the Community! Smiley LOL Lets go ahead and try something, lets restart your Zip by following the instructions on this post. After that, please try to sync again.

Let me know if that works!

My zip won't sync either.  It won't sync with my app or the computer.  I have tried to take out the battery and put it back in.  It was fine last night but hasn't synced since 10:18 last night.

Hmmm...strange my friend @mmaye! Have you tried the steps I've provided here? Have you also made sure that your Fitbit app is running the latest version

Since you've try restarting your Zip by taking the battery out, please verify that there is proper contact between the battery and the battery contacts inside your Zip tracker. You can do this by opening the battery door of your Zip, removing your battery, and ensuring that the silver battery tab located in the lower right half of your tracker is flush with the white box outline in the tracker housing. I tried everything I could. I had a battery that was still 2/3 full.  I went ahead and just put in a new one and that worked.

I just removed the battery, waited 10 seconds, & put it back in with the "+" up.  Then I put the dongle in and put the FitBit by the computer.  Still didn't sync.
