ZIp cannot find device when attempting to sync

I just got a new phone and since then my zip Fitbit says it cannot find the device. The only way I can get it to sync is by taking the battery out and putting it back in. Can someone please help?

Scroll down and you'll see a flood of posts reporting the same issue. There's no solution and no indication of one coming any time in the future. They may or may not be working on a fix; who knows at this point? Our Zips are essentially dead.

Hello @Sinnbad is your old phone still around and turned on?

Since you're asking about a phone problem it is helpful to include the type of phone. Is the phone on the list of tested devices?
