Best AnswerI have had the same issues. Tech support did not solve my problem. Take the device out of the clip on. Slightly pry up the contact tip. Reinstall the Zip. When reading read outs, tap the bottom or top of clip on, not the device. Not crazy about this Zip, yet for now fits my needs. Good luck.
