 I went from a fitbit flex to a zip.  I have the app on my phone from the flex.  Do I need to uninstall and redo the install ?

Thanks for taking a break from stepping to visit the Community @1506jd! You don't need to uninstall. To link your new Zip, you'll need to to set it up with your existing Fitbit.com dashboard. You can follow this set up guide.
