So I got a zip and loved it. battery died so I went to replace it carefully, not rough as to not break anything and it refuses to turn back on. I have adjusted all the metal things inside and nothing. Tried 6 different brands of batteries and nothing. Obviously took out all the batteries waited 30 seconds and tried again to no avail. Someoobne please help. I want my little green dude to work again 😞

Welcome to the Forums @shack_diesel! Thanks for sharing your experience with your Zip and the troubleshooting that you performed before posting here.

Please make sure that you are placing the 3V coin battery, CR2025 with the '+' sign facing you. Once the battery is in place, align the arrow on the battery door with the ‘unlock’ icon on your Zip to put the battery door in place. Use the battery door tool to ‘lock’ the battery door by turning it clockwise until the arrow on the door lines up with the ‘lock’ icon.

Once the display comes on, you will be ready to proceed with setup. The device version of your Zip will appear on the display, followed by a series of smiley faces, which are used to represent your activity level. The display will remain on for 30 minutes after inserting the battery.

I hope this helps, keep me posted! 😉

Didn’t help. I tried 3 different brand new batteries. I know the zip works because when I put the old battery ( still has a little juice) back, it works properly
