Zip has not synced since 26 Feb

My Zip has not synced since Feb 25: app keeps searching although Zip is within 2 feet of it and then app dashboard (hudl) just shows a red exclamation mark!!! First prob since purchase 14 January 2016 and I am not very techno minded. Any guidance gratefully received!!!

Similar problem with my Zip although not for that long.  Does anyone know how to force a synch?  Likewise, I'm not very techno minded.  Cheers

Also having a problem with my Zip sync. It takes several tries, even though it is right against the computer.

My Zip has always worked with the USB dingle, but it needs to be within 6 inches.
On the other hand, it has never "paired" with Bluetooth on my Android, and shows up as Misc. Usually not a priblem, but today there were 10 Misc within range. It will used to sync even when not paird, but not since the last update. I wish they would fix the app.

I had the same problem and just removed the battery from the zip and that worked! All other possible solutions did not.

Zip not syncing to phone. It worked for awhile then cannot find zip. I took battery out and then it worked for one day. Cannot get it to sync.

Yesterday, I removed the battery, and it the Bluetooth found the Zip.  BUT, it still failed to pair.  But, although it didn't pair, it still synced.  

Today:  no Zip in the BT list.  2 MISC.  Failed to pair with both.  Failed to sync.  

This has gotten a lot worse since the Marshmallow update.  But, it never worked correctly in the first place.  

I sync using both the BT & the Dongle on my computer.  The Dongle always works if the Zip is within 12" and there is nothing between them.  The BT never worked well, and took numerous tries. Now, it just doesn't want to work with BT at all.  

I can't pull the battery every time I want to use it.

And in a little over 24 hours, it has stopped syncing again!! So much for removing the battery to correct the problem!!

My zip won't sync since I've installed the updates.  As so often happens, the "update" just messes up something that had always worked perfectly well.

Smiley WinkMy best suggestion would be to verify that there is proper contact between the battery and the battery contacts inside your Zip tracker. You can do this by opening the battery door of your Zip, removing your battery, and ensuring that the silver battery tab located in the lower right half of your tracker is flush with the white box outline in the tracker housing. The process can be followed here.

I am having the same Bluetooth syncing problems. The problem began about 2 weeks ago. Before that I never had this issue. Now I can only sync via the toggle at my computer, I can't sync via Bluetooth to my phone. I tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions, nothing changed. I sent an email to fitbit, but they did not think it was a software problem, so they sent me a new Zip. But the new Zip has the exact same problem. Now I have two Zips that won't sync via Bluetooth! Looks like many people are having this issue and it could be a software problem.

I've actually had some luck doing something counterintuitive: turn off Bluetooth
Close the app
Turn on the Bluetooth
DI NOT PAIR
Open the app
It starts syncing automatically.
Usually works best after clearing ALL apps.
