Zip keeps turning off

My zip keeps turning off randomly. Sometimes it will respond when I tap it but sometimes it stays blank.

I have changed the battery but that doesn't seem to have changed anything, anyone know how to fix the problem.

Welcome to the forums @Lynniej! I'll be glad to help. In this case, I would recommend checking the metal spring inside the Zip's battery compartment. Sometimes your tracker will have battery issues when this is bent. Here is a picture of how it should look like:
