Cannot sync my Zip with my MacBook Pro laptop

I lost my Zip for a couple of months and just found it.  It won't sync to the laptop (OS Sierra) and I've been unable to find the command "Sync now."  I've tried following instructions from this community, but do not see the same things on my screen as described.  Can you help?

I also cannot sync to my Zip from my MacBook Pro running Sierra OS. I tried to install a newer version of Fitbit connect, but now I don't even have a fitbit icon to run the syncing program.  I installed the latest version of Java (8) but I still can't sync from my Macbook Pro laptop.
