Hey there @Zip-newbattery welcome to the Community! Don't worry, sometimes the side spring may be bent as a result of improper battery insertion or pressure being applied to the back housing. So verify that there is proper contact between the battery and the battery contacts inside your Zip tracker. You can do this by opening the battery door of your Zip, removing your battery, and ensuring that the silver battery tab located in the lower right half of your tracker is flush with the white box outline in the tracker housing.
Let me know if that works!

This is what I did. I replaced the battery for my zip' a few days ago. I got zero response from my zip...
I was going to go for a 3 miler walk n run so i checked the Battery ;opened it up and found on the battery a sticker put there in the factory for good reason, no doubt... alas.. i peeled the sticker off; redloaded the battery tap... tap its working fine. now.... I hope your solution is that simple..

I can't even figure out where the door is to put the battery inside.
