I have followed all the suggestions on this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have removed the battery. After removal of the battery it then paired and synced. That was yesterday. Today it will not sync. Android's last phone update was July 19 so that is not the problem. The Fitbit was syncing fine as of 8/19/19. I think the issue is that Fitbit is no longer supporting out of date devices and that the most recent Fitbit update which DID occur in the last week is the problem, NOT the phone which is what all the replies are blaming. It is much easier to blame the phone than to own up and acknowledge that older devices are no longer working with new updates of Fitbit app. I would like to see this issue addressed as taking the battery out everyday is not acceptable solution.

today called support. Had me uninstall Fitbit on my phone reinstall and update. Next I turned off bluetooth and turn back on. It worked on today's and past days. Did not take out battery and did not lose any past days after the last battery removal. Hope this lasts more than a day

The Playstore says the latest is 3.5 and Aug. 30. I received an auto update late on the 4th.

I've never had trouble syncing my Zip until I checked my Dashboard this morning to log my weight. My steps had not been registered and it said my last sync occurred at 11:17pm. I tried doing syncing manually via the Fitbit Connect App on a Windows 10 desktop. I receive a "No internet connection found" even though there is a connection to the internet. I rebooted the modem. I rebooted the PC. I tried resetting the Zip by removing the battery for 10 seconds then putting it back in. None of this worked. I still get the "No internet... message. The Zip is doing everything else it's supposed to do except sync. I like the Zip and have had mine for many years. I just earned my Pole to Pole badge. Please, please fix this problem!

As of Saturday morning 9/7/19, I'm still unable to sync my Zip. I'm using Fitbit Connect version 1.0.3.5512 on a Windows 10 desktop. I've been reading in other discussions about folks beginning to be able to sync again. I'm remaining hopeful.

For the past week, I have been able to sync my Zip using my laptop with windows 10 - not as convenient as my phone, but it works for now . . .

I have been having the same issue. Constantly have to remove battery from Zip. It will sync for a day and then not at all -- on ANY of my devices.
I also have Alta HR and do not have a problem with that.
I had a ONE and LOVED it. Unfortunately, I lost it and they're no longer available. So I got the Zip.
I am ready to toss it.
May replace with something else as I really want one that counts floors climbed.
Fitbit -- please fix this issue!
