Hey guys.

My zip isn't giving me correct readings. It'll show I've only done 10906 steps but phone pedometer shows 13500. It is also showing the incorrect calories burnt as well. Please can someone advise me as I feel let down

this morning my Zip's battery was showing low, so I put a brand new battery in & that battery showed nothing at all, so I put the old battery in and it was working up to a minute ago, I hand mowed my front lawn came in to sync tracker and it still showed low battery, then all of a sudden in the middle of syncing, it showed full battery and 0 steps, when I actually had 1245 steps, what's up with that??? I lost my steps??

I just changed the old battery a couple of weeks ago, just don't understand how it can use so much of the battery then all of a sudden it's a full battery again

A new device and the battery life was supposed to be six months. At this rate, I’ll buy stock in Energizer

Hi everybody! Thanks for posting your questions and comments here in the Forums.

Thanks for all the attempts on trying to help your little buddy. If your Fitbit is not giving you the correct number of steps or calories, please restart it and try to make sure the battery is in a correct position, since it might be loosing contact affecting the functionality of it.

You can also clean the place where you put the battery using a cotton swab. Make sure that the little metal piece that makes contact with the battery is not bend or rusty too.

I checked my battery housing post, inserted new batteries, which show a full charge. However, my steps are not showing accurate on my device or phone. Sometimes, my device shows nothing- yet my numbers on my phone bounce back and forth. Please help!
