Zip not recognizing treadmill exercise

I had a Fitbit Alta before my zip. The Alta was connected to Bluetooth. Whenever I would go on the treadmill, after in the exercise page it would show how long and calories burnt. With my zip, that doesn’t happen. Not sure if that’s a feature the Alta has but the zip doesn’t. My zip won’t connect to my Bluetooth on my iPhone so that might be the issue. I tried restarting it twice and it still didn’t work. Thanks

It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community @Hschwartz! I think that this is due to the SmartTrack feature. The SmartTrack feature automatically recognizes select exercises to ensure you get credit for your most active moments of the day. It is available with all Fitbit devices except Fitbit Charge, Fitbit Flex, Fitbit One, and Fitbit Zip.

Regarding your zip, to see if your Zip is syncing, go to the Account tab and tap on the picture of your Zip. Under your Zip's information you can see the last time it synced.

I hope this helps, keep me posted! 😉
