I have a Zip that I have been using for about a year now. It's always seemed pretty accurate, as far as I can tell, but for the last couple of weeks it's definitely having a problem. I had knee replacement surgery and have been using a walker or a cane since then. Most days I am only registering fewer than 200 steps, but today it says zero and it's after 4 pm. I know that I have been walking a lot less, but it's definitely undercounting. Any ideas?

It's nice to have you on board @songbird_cindi! To ensure that your tracker is working correctly, please restart your Zip. To do so, please check @AlejandraFitbit's with tips on How to Restart Your Zip.
Please give it a couple of days to see if worked. Also, if this doesn't help please let me know the following:
Keep me posted! 😉

Congratulations and condolences both on your knee replacement surgery!
Because you are using a walker or a cane, your up-and-down motion as you walk is much less than when you were walking unaided, and the Zip will have more trouble seeing it.
When you are using a cane, try wearing your Zip on the wrist for the hand that is holding the cane. When you are using the walker, it doesn't matter which wrist you wear it on (because you move the walker with both hands). That way the Zip has a better chance to see the motion of each step.
As you regain use of your knee, the Zip will start to work better gain, because it will see your stronger striding.

Ditto to what @SunsetRunner. I have also put it in my pocket to pick up steps as well. Its not accurate though.
You will be out of walker and cane soon! Hope you heal quickly!
