My zip has not synched since 30th December.
Always same message www.fitbit is down for maintenance.
Have tried on kindle. Phone and laptop.

try turning off completely ie ipad so that it shuts off to black screen and then switch on apple logo shows. This worked for me when only one would sync 😱

I have the same problem, except no feedback messages. Highly irritating. I love my fitbit but will chuck it into the trash if I do not get my weekly summary and daily synching.

I too cannot get my NEW Zip to sync. Took out of box yesterday. Computer shows that its paired with my Bluetooth but cannot get it to sync or to update. Everytime I try to update it just says Could not Complete Your Fitbit Update. Try to sync and update on Galaxy S5. Bluetooth on but cannot locate Zip as bluetooth device so, once again, no syn and no update.

@Janfaulk @ngillette @Haiku0222 welcome aboard guys! It's great having you around in the Community. Have you guys tried to do what @electra2008 recommended? That might do the trick. If you've done that to no avail, then I recommend restarting your tracker by doing the following:
Your Fitbit Zip is now restarted. You will see your tracker's version number, followed by a series of Fitbit Smilies. If that still doesn't do it, then I suggest taking a look at this post with further troubleshooting steps for syncing, and this other post with steps on set up troubleshooting. Keep me posted with the outcome!
