I'm new to using Fitbit Zip, and I have noticed that for some reason Zip keeps resetting the steps I had done so far!! I usually go to the app and check the dashboard to see what what steps were and it shows nil! Can I kindly ask how am meant to be using Zip and how to check my activities without erasing the steps figures! Many tgank

Hi @Seasaw welcome to the Community! Sounds pretty weird that your Zip is resetting every time so. Let me explain you that all the Fitbit trackers reset themselves at midnight and the count starts from zero.

Let me suggest you something, please try to restart your Zip by following the instructions below:

- Open the battery door using the battery door tool and remove the battery.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Place the battery back into the tracker with the "+" side facing up, and close the door.

If the issue persists after that, please get in touch with Customer Support, they will look into your account and choose the best option to get you back on track! Smiley Happy

Let me know how it goes!

Hello, My Fit bit Zip also randomly changes time and resets steps to zero.  This has cost me about 70,000 steps these past 2 weeks. I've reset the battery, made sure time zone is correct, etc... only to have the same thing happen the next day.  My battery is not low.  Is the normal for the Zip?   I had no problems my 1st three months, but now it is barely worth using.  Any advice would be appreciated.
