I have tried everything possible to pair my Fitbit zip to my iphone, iPad, or computer. I get only as far as it making that initial connection to the iphone (or computer) and it says, “We found your device,” but when I enter the 4 digit code to complete the pairing process, then I get the following message: “Something went wrong. There was an error while trying to pair your device. ‘Abort’”. I also notice on the zip itself, when it is “connected,” there is a WiFi symbol at the lower left corner of the screen, but as soon as I key in the 4 digit code that it gives me, the whole screen goes blank as though it is disconnecting to the “Bluetooth” connection.
Yes, I’ve replaced the battery and yes, I have tried connecting to 2 different computers and 2 different iPhones. I’ve turned Bluetooth on a and off and I have restarted my iphone.
Any help would be appreciated.
