Everything was fine until this morning when my Galaxy 9 pushed a system update. Zip is working fine and battery is full but the phone won't find it. I've checked connections and even reinstalled the app. Nothing is working. Anyone else experiencing this?

PLEASE REMOVE THE SOLVED BADGE FROM THIS POST!!!
If you want everyone to throw away their Zips because you are wanting to phase them out then just say so! Don't keep jerking us around acting like you can fix it. Nothing works permanently...I am having to take my battery out a couple of times a day to ensure I get my steps counted. I love my Zip. I hate wearing watches and I wear no jewelry around the house...so the Zip has been my savior! Please get this fixed Fitbit! Zip users are customers too!

Agreed. I don't want a device that I have to wear. Had so many problems I will never buy another Fitbit product.

my zip wasn't syncing after a silly app update on my android. when I tapped on the fitbit app on my phone, after the update, the silly update logged me out. So I logged back into the fitbit app. Fitbit was not recognizing my Zip device. I restarted my Zip device by taking out the zip battery...wait ten seconds and reinsert the battery....don't worry this will not erase your steps or information. close the fitbit app, reopen fitbit app. the synching feature will be found under ur photo, click on ur photo, you will see the word Zip indicatong the battery status, click on Zip and it will recgnize the device and stsrt syncing. If the data does not show up close fitbit and open it up again, after a successful sync the data will appear.

Restart your Zip by removing the battery, wait 10 seconds then reinsert the battery. Get out of the fitbit app then go back into fitbit and sync.

I was sick of doing that so frequently and the battery life draining(they are expensive), I just took it off and tucked it away and haven’t used it. I’m just tired of having to mess with it. It’s too bad because it fit in the middle of my bra and served my purpose beautifully, when it worked.

We were having problems syncing my One and my Wife's Zip for the past few weeks. I ended up syncing both of them with my laptop using the windows 10 app and it synced just fine. If you don't have Bluetooth on your laptop you can use the little dongle it came with too, that will at least sync your data to your account. I wish they would come out with a new clip on tracker instead of all these ugly wrist band ones.
