Trying to get my old fitbit zip to sync up with my new google pixel phone. I reloaded app, batteries in and out, and the best I can do is to get it to sync once after removing battery. Won't sync the next day. Any advice? Does a person go to the phone people or to the fitbit people? Thanks in advance
Best AnswerThat's the same boat the rest of us are in. The Zip cannot sync properly with Android 9 unless you've just reset it via removing and reinstalling the battery. You can try FitBit support; they'll likely have you try a lot of different things that won't work before finally admitting to you that there's a problem they've been unable to fix for the last 10 months. This is likely why they've finally stopped selling it and have posted a notice at the top of the Zip forum stating that they no longer monitor the forum.
I truly believe that FitBit has washed its hands of the Zip.
