is it ok to carry my zip in a magnetic running pouch? Specifically, a Running Buddy running pouch mini.

Welcome to our Community @zip4me! It's nice to have you here!
Your Fitbit Zip is most accurate when worn on or very close to the body. A shirt pocket, bra, pants pocket, belt, or waistband are all ideal places to wear your Zip. I don't think this should affect the accuracy on your Zip but make sure you use the silicone holder with the display facing outward and to make sure it is hold correctly to avoid any inaccuracy.
Hope this helps, have a great week my friend! ![]()

I got tired of having to replace my Zip cover/clip, so I bought a different type that holds the device in place with a magnet (on my bra, as I've always worn it). It's been fine for several months. All of a sudden, my Zip is not tracking steps correctly (either losing steps, or more recently, adding steps), and I just had to replace the battery about a month after having already replaced it. Logic tells me that using the Zip with a magnetic holder shouldn't be causing these problems, but wanted to check it out to be sure I'm not overlooking something.
