I've searched through the forum and have seen a few similar posts but nothing that's been recommended has solved the problem.  My Charge HR is syncing and the dashboard shows an accurate step count. However, in all of my weekend warrior challenges my step count shows 0.  But I even had a "crushed it" message in the challenge feed!!  I've rebooted my Charge HR.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app.  I've logged out and logged back in.  Nothing has worked.  The group challenges still show 0.  However, the Vernall Falls challenge is showing my step count.... Any help??

Welcome to the forums @Zumba_Chic

Is it showing up on the dashboard via computer at all?

On the Dashboard it's fine.  I think what happened is that the app decided to only send my steps to the Vernal Falls??  Once I was done with that adventure challenge my steps went to the weekend warrior.  So weird....

But my weekend warrior challenge step count shows the total steps minus Vernal Falls....

@Zumba_Chic Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I recommend logging out from the app, reboot your phone, and logging back in. That should help. Also, are manually logging activities or tracking with exercise mode (pushing the button on your Charge HR)? Those will not count towards challenges!

Hi! I did all that prior to posting.  And I'm not manually logging anything.  My steps were all correct in my dashboard and they were all going to the adventure challenge and not showing up in the weekend warrior.  Once I finished the adventure challenge, my steps started showing up in the weekend warrior minus the 15k steps that went to the adventure challenge.  Has anyone else experienced this?  I'm going to try another adventure challenge and see if that stops adding steps to the work week challenge I'm in.

Hey @Zumba_Chic, hope you're doing great! Below are possible reasons for this issue:

1. Your steps have fully synced to our database but you're not viewing the mobile app dashboard in Live Data Mode. (Live data mode would show the word "connected" under your tracker tile).
2. You manually logged an activity. Steps from manually logged activities do not count toward challenges; only steps recorded by your tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
3. You used MobileRun to track GPS data with your app. Only steps recorded by a tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
4. All challenge participants are not in the same time zone.

I also recommend waiting 15 minutes after syncing your Fitbit data to see if your challenge updates and checking that your Fitbit App is up-to-date.

Catch you later!

@MarreFitbit, sorry but your second reason just isn’t possible since Zumba_Chic has stated “I'm not manually logging anything.” That means that all the steps haven’t been manually entered, so it couldn’t be that the reason why it was showing zero steps was because the steps were manually entered when it was stated that they weren’t manually entered.
