Hello for the past few days I haven’t been able to sync my charge 5 with my Fitbit app on my iPhone. I have tried all the things that the help tells us to do. What else can I do?

Hi there everyone!

Thank you for all your patience and efforts. I merged your posts so I can keep you all updated on this situation.

Our team is working on finding a solution for syncing.

If it's possible, could you please let me know which iOS Version you have?

Best wishes to everyone!

Hi @MasterMetz! Thanks for your reply and for the information.

For all those reporting that the issue has been resolved can you share with us if there's a specific troubleshooting that you tried? So everyone else can test it out?

Thanks for your efforts.

@dwin As a One user as well, I have been watching for any good news for our devices on both the IOS and Android forums.  From what I have seen, IOS went from 4.28.2 directly to 4.29.  I never saw 4.28.3 for IOS.  4.28.3 for Android was available on October 31 and is the latest version, according to the Google Play store.  It brought no joy for me or any other Android/One users as far as I can tell.  I suspect Support is addressing you incorrectly as an Android user.  Still holding out hope for our humble One devices!

Hi there! @penny26 Thank you for your answer and for the help. @BGCOS A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Thanks for reporting you're having the same situation.

Have you already updated the Fitbit app? If the situation persists after the update I suggest you restart your Fitbits and follow the instructions from this article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Okay so I managed to get mine to sync. Updated the app and watch. I had to reboot the watch three times but the third time it started syncing.

@BGCOS  Were you able to see your historical data - steps, distance, etc - for previous days, weeks, months?

Fitbit App version 4.32

iOS version 18.2

  • Fitbit app does not read steps from Apple Health app
    • Settings > Apps > Health > Data Access & Devices > Fitbit > ALLOW "FIBIT" TO READ [Steps] = Enabled
    • Settings > Apps > Fitbit > Bluetooth = Enabled
      • Bluetooth shows connected to Inspire 3
    • Settings > Apps > Fitbit > Background App Refresh = Enabled
    • Fitbit > Connected to Fitbit > Phone > Synced [Timestamp] = Manually synced as well
    • Fitbit settings > Manage access to account > Manage connected apps > Health does not appear here
  • Fitbit app does not read steps from MyFitnessPal
    • Fitbit settings > Manage access to account > Manage connected apps > MyFitnessPal LLC = Approved [Timestamp]
      • Access And Write - sleep, settings, nutrition, activity, social, profile, weight
  • Fitbit app does not read weight from Renpho scale
    • Fitbit settings > Manage access to account > Manage connected apps > Renpho Health by renpho = Approved [Timestamp]
      • Access And Write - settings, profile, weight
    • Attempts to even add new measurements to Renpho via scale stalls the app until disconnected from Fitbit
    • Data is captured by Renpho, evidenced by multiple readings appearing in history after disconnecting Renpho from Fitbit
