Until upgrading my phone to iOS13 things were great on the FitBit App, prompts in a British-Aussie accent. That is not the case now, and according to the support desk, there is no ability to change it. Using my FitBit, like many others in countries other than the one/s I call home, one needs to be mindful of geopolitical correctness.
It would be good to see the same language/accent support that other Apps have, for example Waze.

Hello @bamc805 and a warm welcome. Are asking about the voice cues that you can get while tracking with the app, a feature Fitbit calls MobileRun? You are the second user today who has described an accent change. The other user got an American accent at the first km, then a British accent at the second km.
The other user is using an Android phone. Weird. Any additional information will help. Where are you located?

Hi LZeeW,
Its the running log which tracks your progress, you set it to give cues as you progress, all good until Sunday and updating the phone, Monday morning American accent. After spending some time on every setting with no luck I contacted the support desk. Net outcome is on the iOS version now its American.
No sure how well that will go down in some countries at the App itself is great. For me I have had to turn the volume down overseas, currently in Malaysia and spend a lot of time in West Africa. British/Aussie/Kiwi there is fine but now its a probably don't use the app!

I upgraded to iOS 13 yesterday, and my voice cues have changed from a male with British accent to a female with American accent. Thought that something must have changed in the Language & Region settings on my iPhone, but everything looks fine. Looks like I’m stuck with her now, which is disappointing as I find her voice quite annoying.

I agree entirely. I nearly threw my Versa into the bushes the first time she interrupted my music to screech into my ears. To me she sounds rather patronising. If Fitbit are offering us Brits the opportunity to choose a culturally sensitive voice, I can't find the setting. If not, and Fitbit are imposing an American voice, then shame on them.

Same issue. Living in NY, but have an Aussie accent. Need fitbit to recognize my accent for accurate voice to text replies
