Help.

I’m involved in a challenge with neighbors and when ever I go to  I accept the daily challenge from my email it opens in safari first (ok fine) then it asks me if I want to open this in the app. I say yes. The app opens then immediately redirects me to the App Store to download the app (which I already have). My app is up to date as well as my iOS. The only way to access the app is to click the tiny upper left hand corner “previous app used” words with an arrow (in this case it looks kinda like this, <— Fitbit). I’ve deleted and reinstalled my app multiple times as well as rebooted my phone, so what gives?!?! I can get to my app but I have to do this process every single time and it used to work flawlessly. This just started about a week ago. Help, please.

Hi @Punkybear, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry for the delay in my response.

Thanks for sharing detailed information about this situation, as well for the troubleshooting steps that you've tried. I'm sorry for this inconvenience, I'm here to help you out. To further investigate, please provide me with the following information:

  1. iPhone's model and iOS version.
  2. Screenshot o the page where it says "previous app used".
  3. Although this challenge is with your neighbors, could you please confirm if all the participants have the same time zone in the Fitbit app?

In the meantime, I'd recommend to log out from the Fitbit app, force quit the Fitbit app in your phone, log back in and try accepting the challenge from the app rather than the email.

Let me know how it goes.
